How it works

Three things happen
under each pod.

Each pod sits on a patch, and the patch sits on your skin. You choose red light, gentle electric pulses, or both.

PODPATCHSKIN

Red light

Ten LEDs in each pod shine 620 nm red light onto the skin under the eye.

PODPATCHSKIN

Gentle electric pulses

Four small contact points on each pod send gentle electric pulses through the patch.

PODPATCHSKIN

A hydrating patch

The patch holds the pod in place and helps hydrate and soften the skin while you wear it.

Drawings are simplified to show the order of pod, patch and skin. They are not to scale.

Red light

Ten red LEDs
in each pod.

Each pod holds ten LEDs at 620 nm, the red part of visible light, at skin level under the eye. With consistent use, fine lines appear softened.

Because the pods are worn, the light stays where you put it for the whole session. There is nothing to hold in position.

Pulse

Gentle pulses,
four points a pod.

In pulse mode, four small contact points on each pod send gentle electric pulses through the patch to the skin under the eye.

Use pulse on its own, or together with red light. If the pulses feel uncomfortable, stop and use red light on its own.

The dots mark the real positions of the contact points on each pod.

Modes

Three modes.
One button.

Press the button once to move to the next mode. A small light on the pod shows which one you are in. Blue and green only show the mode: the light on your skin is always red.

  • Red light

620 nm red light on its own.

  • Pulse

Gentle electric pulses on their own, through the four contact points on each pod.

  • Red light and pulse

    Both together.

The design

Worn, not held.

No mask, no strap and no wires. Each pod is a little over six centimetres long and follows the curve under the eye.

The pods rest on single-use patches, with the thin end toward the nose. The design is patented: U.S. Patent No. 12,268,892. Patents

Patches

A fresh pair
every time.

Eyetech 2.0 comes with twelve pairs of single-use patches, each pair sealed in its own pouch.

The patches help hydrate and soften under-eye skin, and fine, dry lines may look less noticeable. Refill boxes of twelve pairs are sold separately.

With the pods

The patch is the layer between the pod and your skin. It holds the pod in place for the eight minutes, and the red light and pulses reach the skin through it.

On their own

On a day without the pods, wear a pair of patches by themselves. Use each pair once, then throw it away.

Questions

Good to know.

How long is a session?

Eight minutes. The pods switch off by themselves at the end. To stop sooner, hold the button.

Do I need the patches?

Yes, the pods are made to sit on the patches. You can also wear the patches on their own.

Can I use a patch twice?

No. Each patch is for one use. Use a fresh pair every session and throw the used pair away.

What is the pulse mode?

In pulse mode the four contact points on each pod send gentle electric pulses through the patch. It is one of the three modes. If the pulses feel uncomfortable, stop and use the red light mode on its own.

How do I clean it?

Wipe the pods and the case with a damp cloth after use. Never hold them under water, and never immerse them.

How is it different from the first Eyetech?

Eyetech 2.0 has ten red LEDs in each pod at 620 nm, a pulse mode in place of vibration, and single-use hydrating patches in place of reusable silicone pads. It is white, and it comes with twelve pairs of patches.

What does the warranty cover?

All Spacetouch devices are backed by a Lifetime Manufacturer's Warranty covering the replacement of any manufacturing or battery defects. Shipping costs for replacement devices are not covered.
