How powerful are the heads?
Two different numbers, answering two different questions.
What each head draws: Pain Relief 5.4 W · IR + Red 4.4 W · Pro Laser 3.5 W · IR + Blue 1.2 W · EMS 0.35 W. Base unit 5 W.
What actually reaches your skin:
- IR + Blue Light — 12.4 mW/cm² across 8.55 cm²
- IR + Red and Topical Heat — 9.2 mW/cm² across 8.55 cm²
- Pain Relief — 40 LEDs across 22.18 cm², the largest window in the system
Note that the ranking changes between the two lists. IR + Blue draws the least power of the LED heads and delivers the most light per square centimetre. That is why the watt figure alone tells you very little.
