Is more power better?
No — and it's one of the most misunderstood things about light therapy.
The skin's response is biphasic. Too little light does nothing. Too much doesn't do more — it does less. Published studies show cell activity rising to a peak at a modest dose, then falling away as the dose climbs.
It's worth knowing that Vega's cleared red-mode intensity of 7.2 mW/cm² is deliberate, and was reviewed alongside the results it produces. A bigger number is not a better session.

How long does it take to charge?
About 3 hours from empty to full.
Why does it stop after 8 minutes?
That is the session timer. Vega runs an 8-minute cycle, then shuts off on its own.
